Downie brings extensive experience with a proven track record of scaling high-growth businesses and leading global teams. His appointment comes as PublicRelay continues to expand its leadership in delivering actionable intelligence through a fully integrated approach to traditional, social, and emerging media, powered by AI and human expertise.

Prior to joining PublicRelay, Downie held senior leadership roles at several leading organizations in the data and technology space. At Lotame, he served as Chief Revenue Officer, helping grow the company from $2 million to more than $40 million in revenue. Most recently, he served as U.S. CEO and Chief Revenue Officer at Making Science, where he helped scale the generative AI-enabled data and insights business to five times its size in just two years.

Earlier in his career, Downie held leadership roles at Google, where he managed a global sales organization responsible for more than $4 billion in revenue, and at Bain & Company, where he advised Fortune 100 companies on digital strategy and transformation.
